1. Pick an artifact that tells something about you at this time in your life to place in our time capsule. You may take a picture of the artifact, or you may draw a picture of your artifact.


2. Write a description of your artifact and tell why it is important to you.


3. Write a letter to yourself, a friend or family member telling them about you. You can include such topics as:
- what are your interests?
- what are your favorite foods?
- what is the best joke you have heard?
- what do you like about school?
- who are your friends?
- what do you want to be when you grow up?
- any other topic you want to write about


We will open the time capsule just before you graduate 8th grade.
