Third Grade

n               Large cork board for bulletin board

n               Dominoes ­ multiple sets for math games

n               Any books about Native Americans

Seventh Grade

n               Videos ­ “A History of the Middle Ages” and “Japan The Land of the Rising Sun” (from www.LibraryVideo.com)

n               Book ­ “Math Wizardry for Kids” from www.barronseduc.com

n               Book ­ “Advent, Christmas, Lent & Easter for Any Cycle” from St. Mary’s Press (ask Kathy for details)

First Grade

n               4 vinyl tablecloths (large) or 3 cloths 124” by 60” and 1 cloth 150” by 60”

n               Straw for manger (needed immediately)

n               Styrofoam packing peanuts (needed for end of January) ­ and someone willing to recycle it after use

n               16 black top hats for boys (needed before 12/15)

Office

n               Plastic forks and spoons to have in each classroom, so students don’t have to come to the office when the lunch packers don’t include them

Technology

n               Small 8” or 12” fan for the server room

n               Childproofing of the computer lab (including drilling holes behind computers for wire placement)

Fifth Grade

n               Garden advice:  Need help researching how we could create a class garden (for science) in our room or on the campus property

n               Connections with field trips/organizations for our service project theme of environmental stewardship

Sixth Grade

n               Sixth grade would love World Music, especially Greek music, African Congolese music, and
Mexican music.

n               Also, if there is a parent in the community that is really familiar with a certain genre of world music, I would love their help.

n               If there are any parents who would be interested in sharing an art lesson with the 6th grade, it would be much appreciated.

Second Grade

n               Books:  “Old Turtle” by Douglas Wood, “Zoom” by Banyai,

n               Air-dry clay, oil pastels

n               Sequins and sparkles
