Michael was born in Modesto and is the oldest son in a family of four. His father was a career officer in the Air Force. As a result, he has lived in several different states across the United States. He and his wife Kristi are very active in their Catholic parish.
Michael earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from California State University Stanislaus, graduating magna cum laude. He had a successful twenty year career in financial services at a Fortune 100 company. He spent the majority of his career as a Vice President of Human Resources, which included providing human resources and business consulting services to senior managers, while managing a team of professionals. He retired in 2009.
After retiring, he earned his teaching credential from Holy Names University. He spent five years teaching in public education. In 2015, he transitioned to teaching in Catholic education. In 2016, he earned his Masters in Teaching Leadership from St. Mary’s College of California, graduating with honors.
Michael brings his passion for Catholic education to Corpus Christi School. “I absolutely believe in our mission of ‘Challenging Minds, Nurturing Spirits, Together.’ It is my personal goal to support our students in mastering the Corpus Christi learning expectations by the time they graduate.”
