What is the Walk-a-Thon?
The Walk-a-Thon is a fundraiser for the school that is all day and held each year in October. At the Walk-a-Thon you walk around the neighborhood and walk as many laps as possible to earn fun prizes!
What do you do at the Walk-a-Thon?
At the Walk-a-Thon you eat, do fun activities, walk, and have fun and hanging out with classmates and friends.
What are the activities?
The activities are the dunk tank where you dunk the teachers in water if you get the ball in the hoop. There is a cake walk, a face painting station, a spin to win that has stuffies, candie, board games, jewelry kits, and books that you can choose from. Those are only some of the games, they have many more games to make your day as fun as possible. They also have raffle tickets that you can get to win fun prizes.
If you are interested you can also get a Walk-a-Thon T-shirt and if you are a kid you can enter the Walk-a-Thon T-shirt design contest and your design could be on the shirt. The T-shirt order form came in the Wednesday envelope. The deadline for the T-shirt order forms and the T-shirt designs are due Friday, September 14.
If you want to participate in collecting pledge money, then you can raise money from your Wednesday envelope. If you raise at least 50$ then you will get a free dress pass. Parents, grandparents, or even your neighbors. The paper that you can record who donates and how much money they donate as well as the envelope to collect your money came in the Wednesday.
