Science Fair! - a review

The science fair documentary follows a group of high school kids hopeful to win an international science fair. They all have big dreams but only one can win.  This is a movie for 4th grade students and above. It is about kids who create a project to win the International Science and Engineering Fair. Viewers will fall in love with the characters as they learn about the creations and inventions. Entries included a cure for a common illness and flying drone/kite invention. A girl with a very competitive spirit invented a mind reading machine and was very entertaining.   It was very interesting to hear about their steps to get to the place where their dreams of winning could possibly come true. Some don't win but others do, and even though everyone has a good shot at winning, participating was enough to make it a learning experience.

Corpus Christi middle school gathered in the gym to watch this interesting film about how science fair competition can both excite and stress out smart kids.  Here at Corpus Christi, sixth grade participates in the Invention Convention which involves inventing a useful gadget. From coming up with an idea, to building a prototype to writing a report and creating a poster board, Invention Convention is always very interesting and sometimes funny. Seventh and eighth grade create a science fair project and get it judged.

If you have a chance to see Science Fair, do it! My personal rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
